Refrigerated Cooling Conveyor

Refrigerated Cooling Conveyor to handle containers in plastic pucks with a maximum size of 80 x 80mm as follows:-

CONVEYOR
1 metre wide by 6.5 metres overall length conveyor constructed from Flexlink modular beam with 4 & 2.5 metre sections.

Belt - Green PVC coated with a flush mechanical joiner and to be variable in speed from 150 to 450 mm/min.

The unit is supplied with jackable floor castors on each section

COOLING TUNNEL
A 350 mm high insulated tunnel 4.5 metre long (3 metres on one conveyor section) with clear lift off triwall polycarbonate covers.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
One 3.0 kw re-circulation air refrigeration system with a double evaporator block mounted in a 2,300 x 1,350 x 600 mm enclosure over the conveyor and connected to the cooling tunnel either end by insulated aluminium ducting 1000 x 250 mm in section.

Air re-circulated at approx. 10 mph and the temperature to be adjustable from ambient to 2ºC.

Condenser unit to be remotely roof mounted in weatherproof enclosure.

LOADER UNIT
One pneumatically powered unit with hydraulic speed control to load rows of containers 12 wide onto the conveyor from an infeed conveyor. Adjustable for pucks from 50 x 50 to 80 x 80mm in size.

UNLOADER UNIT
One pneumatic unit to transfer cooled rows of containers from the end of the conveyor onto an out feed conveyor.

CONTROLS
Mounted under the loader end of the conveyor with an eye level consol with conveyor ON/OFF, refrigeration ON/OFF, conveyor speed setting and temperature controller with digital tunnel temperature display.

900 mm +/- 10mm

TEMPERATURE RANGE
Ambient to 2ºC accurate to +/-1ºC

14 to 40 mins

TIME IN TUNNEL
10 to 28 mins
