 Semi-Automatic Mascara Filler
FEATURES - 24 station rotary table. 860 mm diameter stainless steel rotary table with interchangeable holders. The table is driven by a Ferguson 24 station 90 degree angle index unit, powdered by a 250 watt D.C. shunt wound motor through a geared drive with a clutch/brake
- Automatic filling. The containers are filled from the standard Kemwall 0 - 20 ml mascara Pump powered by a 50 mm main pneumatic cylinder.
- No container/no fill function. A photoelectric eye senses the container in the holder under the filling nozzle and provides a no container / no fill function.
- Fill level sensor. A pneumatic cylinder lifts the containers 15 mm out of the holder and a sensitive capacitive proximity sensor detects if a container is not fully filled or is empty. If an empty or part filled container is sensed the machine stops and a warning light will operate.
- Automatic cap tightening and ejection. The containers are gripped by a pair of urethene rubber coated jaws and the cap screwed on by a conical driver powdered by a torque adjustable air motor which ensures that the caps are not marked or damaged.
- Automatic ejection. The finished containers are automatically ejected from the machine by a pneumatic cylinder down an angled chute. Outlet height approximately 900 mm.
- 30 litre Bulk Pressure Vessel (will provide 3,000 fills on 10ml per loading).
- Counter. A 6 digit resettable counter records batch quantities
OPTIONS - Dive and rise fill.
- Container Loading. One 600mm diameter Vibration Bowl Feeder 750mm long transfer conveyor and loading unit for one size of container, built into machine
- Plug Insertion. One 300mm diameter Vibration Bowl Feeder 600mm long linear vibrator to transfer plugs to the inserter which has no container Or low/filing plug function
- Hot stamp coding. The base of the containers is hot embossed with a code up to 6 digits 1.5 mm high using hardened steel stamps. The temperature is adjustable up to 400 degrees Centigrade and the embossing time is adjustable up to 1 second.
- Labelling. The bottom of the tubes is labelled by a Herma 300 SK8 pick and place labelling system with height adjustment. The unit is mounted on two axis tables. The labeller would be fitted with an Allen thermal printer to 8 digit print onto the labels.
- Additional 30 litre bulk pressure vessel with change over valve to provide continuous filling.
